Turkish Lira is widely used for transactions, and some businesses may accept US dollars or Euros, but it is advisable to use Lira for everyday transactions to avoid being swindled. ATMs can be found all around Turkey, and most of them will accept international credit and debit cards. Turkey also offers contactless payments made with a bank card or mobile device.
